I only have 64 megs of ram on my video card, is it still worth it to download and install vista? Will it look good or will it still look like xp? If I were to install it is there a way to unistall it?
Thanks,
Ryan

I only have a video card with 64 megs of ram. Is Vista still
The minimum requirements for the Windows AERO Glass effect if thats what you want in Vista is 64 MBs of vRAM, but there are some caveats to this. The card must Direct X 9 compliant and have a support WDDM (Windows Display Driver Model). If you install Vista either clean install (overwrite the XP Windows folder) or upgrade from XP, there is no way to uninstall, its a point of no return, you will just have to format Vista and reinstall XP.
So back up any important data if you plan on doing so. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

I have an Nvidia 4200 64MB card. Vista disabled the Aero Glass feature, and will not allow me to enable it.
